Hello everyone! I hope you all are safe and happy and that you have started Spring in the best possible way! I wasn’t planning on a TBR for the Spring, because it does not make a lot of sense since in April the new edition of r/fantasy Bingo would start, and I am always so excited about it! (Even if every year I try to plan in advance what reading to do, and then I fail miserably… but I am still going to try it, because I love it!). And since the best part of the bingo for me is all the planning to make a good TBR for it well… it does not make sense to have a TBR in place and more books to fight for their place in there but then, the first day of Spring I decided that I want to do a seasonal TBR, and so here we are!

I am cheating a bit here with The Ruin Of Kings because I have started that book, but it is on hold at the moment because, even if I am loving it, I can’t give it the attention it deserves, so it is again on my shelves waiting for the right moment. Then we have The Court War, an ARC I am really excited about, Smolder, the latest volume into the Anita Blake series, The Genesis of Misery that I am really dying to start, and Justice of Kings, which I really really really want to start, even if I keep procrastinating!

The Councillor is a book I hope to read soon, I almost started it a couple of times but there was always something clamoring for my attention, City Of Stairs is the first book I wanted to read by this author, and even if I completed the Foundryside trilogy, I have yet to read this one (and I keep putting it in my r/fantasy bingo TBR but… no luck here!), and then we have Witchmark, that it has a really beautiful cover and that it’s calling my name!
When I thought to write down my TBR for Spring I thought that I would have put a lot of fresh and happy and fast reading but this does not sound like the case… Oooops! But those are the books that I really hope to read this season!
What about you? Have you written a TBR for this new season? And what do you think of my choices?? Let me know!!
Happy reading!

This is the first time I’ve heard of the Anita Blake series. I love the cover of Smolder, it’s so striking.
I seem to be mood reading a lot recently so haven’t done a TBR post in a while.
Good luck with r/fantasy Bingo 😀

I just started the Court War on a whim, even though it’s not out til like, August. I’m proud of you for procrastinating! Not exactly sure why, but I do it all the time so it must be good, eh;)

😂 I hope to start Court War soon, too, even if August is still far away because I am pretty curious!!

I’ve had Ruin of Kings on my TBR since… well, forever, and every time I think about picking it up. some other title looks at me imploringly and I cave in… Justice of Kings was one of last year’s best discoveries and I hope to be able to tackle the second volume in the series soon…
Happy Spring reading!!!! 🙂

I had Ruin of Kings waiting for me on my shelves for a lot of time! And I am a tad annoyed (with myself, not with the book) that I have put it back to waiting again, because from what I read it’s pretty amazing, and I want to give it the attention it deserves!
And I am so looking forward to start Justice of Kings!!! 😍
