Hello everyone! It seems like I may be back! Lately, things have been pretty busy and I hadn’t a lot of time to spend on my PC so I had to put it all on hold. And I was also in a reading slump, just to make it all easier. But… it seems like things are settling down, I have more time to spend with my computer and the slump is going away, so I may be back for real! And I decided to start with a recap, because it is a great way to come back!
What am I reading?

The slump is going away, and that’s an amazing thing but my reading mood is quite strange at the moment, so I have started The Ruin Of Kings and I am loving it! I can see why all the hype and the love for this series, really but my mood at the moment is not the right one for it, so I have put it on hold and started Bitter Medicine. I am quite enjoying it, it has some really interesting characters and it is intriguing! But I can’t read it alone, I need to mix it up with something else, so I have also started One In The Hand. And things are moving along smoothly. Parrish’s book is easy to read, fast, and captivating!
What have I read?

Echoes Of Another Earth is a book I read for SPSFC2, and it is interesting and fascinating. It has an interesting idea, the plot moves along nicely and I enjoyed spending time with the characters! And then I have finally read The Cloud Roads. On one hand, I was expecting more, because this book was so hyped and on the r/fantasy community it was everywhere last year for the recs for the Bingo. It was literally everywhere and people were recommending it at every chance they get so I was curious, and even if I took my sweet time getting to it, I just had to try it for myself. And it is not a bad book, I also think I would continue the series but it was not as special as I was hoping. I enjoyed it, sure, but… I was expecting more!
What Would I Read?

I really hope my next reading would be Spirits of Vengeance, because I am quite curious to start it, and because I should be reading it for a contest of which I should talk to you, sooner or later! I may be a tad behind with my blogging schedule but I am trying!
Blogging and Personal Life
On the blogging side, I should write so many reviews that I don’t know where to start. But start should I, so I would try my best and be back tomorrow with the first of them. Or so I hope! I am keeping my finger crossed and see what I would do!
And on the personal side, I was on a small vacation at the beginning of this week, and it really helped me relax. Also, Ade was pretty happy to be there and he played and run around a lot. So I would leave a couple of pictures of him here because I just love to share them!

And what about you? How was your week? Let me know!
Happy reading!

We all need a vacation from time to time. It’s great you and Ade had a lovely relaxing time.

Thank you!! ❤️ And I am almost done with Bitter Medicine, it is interesting, with a world full of diverse magical being and some really good characters, even if, to be honest, I was expecting something more on the whole!

Like you, I enjoyed reading The Cloud Roads but expected a little more, given the hype. To be honest, I prefer Wells’ Murderbot series quite a lot more! 😉
And keep sharing Ade’s pictures, because we can never have enough of them!

Nice to see you back, Susy 😀 Reading slumps are not good. I’m reading so slowly these days I wonder if it might be a slump too. Hope you’re enjoying your books now. Have a good week.
