Hello everyone! I hope you all are safe and happy! Today I can finally share with you all my TBR for the r/fantasy Bingo! And I am so excited about it!! It is always a struggle because all the prompts are interesting and there are a ton of books that I want to read that can fit them, and there are even more books I add to my TBR every year thanks to the community recs for every prompt. It is not a good thing, because now I have even more books that I want to read, but sadly the time is always the same… sigh! But oh well, there are worse fates out there! And this year I decided to approach this challenge (like I did last year) with a list of books from the start.
Last year I didn’t do so great with it, and so we have some books in there that were here last year, too, and I really hope this would be their year! And then I tried to be balanced about new books/series and series I want to continue! So, let’s begin!

The first prompt is about a list that I really want to share with you all, because it is brilliant, and full of amazing books, too!

It wouldn’t be bingo without Andrew Rowe’s books, at least for me, and I am really looking forward to reading The Torch That Ignites The Stars, because I love this series! Then there are two series that I want to read since forever, and every year I say that this would be the year, and then… nope! But this time I really hope I would read both The Bone Ships and Leviathan Wakes! I am also excited for The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred The Vampire Accountant. This title is sooooo long! But I am really curious about this book! And I also hope to start The Ruin of Kings. I have heard so many good things about this series!!!!

The Unborken is another book that I wanted to read, but I was procrastinating. But no more! Or at least, I really hope so! And then we have three books that I wasn’t really so kin on reading when they came out, but that now I am pretty curious about: Witchmark, Amberlough, and This I How You Lose The Time War didn’t sound like my usual cup of tea, but I slowly changed my mind over time because I have read some interesting reviews and because people keep recommending them… so now I am curious! And then there is an old friend: City of Stairs. It was in the card last year, but I didn’t read it so let’s hope I would manage it this year!!!!

The Death Of the Necromancer was in the last year’s TBR, too, because I really wanted to read something else by this author, Murderbot aside and necromancers are intriguing! Sadly I didn’t manage to read it, but I am eager to try again!! The Traitor Baru Cormorant is a series that I wanted to start since forever, or so it seems, and I am pretty excited to finally put it on a TBR. I am sorely aware that putting a book in a TBR is not the same as reading it, but it is a step in the right direction, right?? Then we have Heroes Return, the fifth book in this series. I am really loving the characters here, but I am not so good at continuing it, sadly! Cast In Ruin is another series that I love, and even if I am doing slightly better with this one, I am not doing enough. And this series is so so good!! And last of the group, but not least, Dragon Mage. I wanted it so bad!! And my brother gifted it to me for Christmas, and I was so excited!! But it is so so chunky!! And okay, I may be a tad intimidated by it!

Half A Soul is another series that I really wanted to start but that I keep procrastinating. And then we have two old friends: Ninefox Gambit and Guns Of The Dawn. The last one was in Bingo last year too, but I failed miserably. And both of them were in some of my past TBRs, and yet they are still there. Argh!!! But I will read them!!! Then we have Dreadful Company, the second book in this series. The first one was pretty good, but then I get distracted! And The Golem and The Jinn is on my TBR since forever! It is one of the first I have added to my shelf on Goodreads, and they translated it in Italian too, so as soon as I saw the translation in a bookshop I had to take it home with it. And this was ages ago. And still, it sits on my shelves, unread…

The Iron Widow is a recent addition to my TBR, but it was highly recommended for a lot of squares this year, and so well… why not?? Three Parts Dead is another series that I wanted to start really bad, even if I am constantly distracted by other books! Age of Ash is a book that I hope to read really soon, and that I should have already read, honestly! A Blink Of The Screen was the perfect choice for the short stories prompt, and then there is the last book on the list, and it is also the last book in the series (wow!!): The Thief Who Went To War. I am so looking forward to this one!!!
So… that’s all for today! Are you taking part in this Bingo too? And have you read the books I have chosen?? Let me know!
Happy reading!

This certainly is a great list. I think I probably need to do something similar for the two bingo cards that I’ve decided to try and fill – I’m sure that some of the books I’ve already read will meet some of those I just need to do an update post.
Good luck with your list.

What an amazing list! I’ve read and enjoyed some of the books there, and others I’ve been interested in since… well, forever – like Ninefox Gambit (see? it’s not only you 😉 )
And that title about the vampire accountant makes me laugh!

Thank you!! And knowing that I am not the only one that keeps procrastinating books that seem amazing helps!
Also, I loved that title and it made me laugh too. It is something for sure!
