Hello people and happy Sunday! I hope you all are relaxing and enjoying the day! Today I should do some ironing, because I have procrastinated it quite a bit, and I really really need to do it, but I am soooo looking forward to a day all for myself and my crochet! Maybe I will compromise a bit or maybe I will go with just ignoring the to-do list and go with the mood! But back to the topic, here are the books that made my week:

What am I reading?

So, we have, again, Tower Lord. To be honest I have just read something like 50 pages of it so… I am not really doing so good with it, but I really hope to go back to it soon! And then I have started The Last Watch. I have just started it, so I can’t say a lot about it, but so far so good! I was pretty excited to start this one, and I am glad to say that, so far, I am enjoying it a lot!

What have I read?

Some of those were in the last monthly wrap-up, but there are a couple of new entries too! A Master of Djinn was less than what I was expecting but I enjoyed the book all the same. And I can say more or less the same thing for Dog Country. It is an interesting book, and some parts were compelling, but not all. But more on this next week! Then I have started this series by John Bierce and the first book, Into the Labyrinth, was amazing! So much so that after reading Cross’ book, I went straight back to it, and read Jewel Of The Endless Erg, the second book. And I was not disappointed in the least!

What Would I read?

I think that my next books would be Jolene, because I am pretty curious about it, and because I am trying to follow, at least a bit, my TBR, and Above the Sky, because I need to keep reading the SPSFC books. But I am not making promises here, because I am feeling quite attracted by some sequels for some of the series I have ongoing, and I may change my mind. At least, if I don’t follow the TBR but I read some sequels I am not complaining!!!

Blogging and Personal Life

On the blogging side, I have some reviews to write, and I hope to post a new Blame it on the community because I am really missing that meme! And I should also take a look at what I am doing with the series project, but I don’t know if I will have the time next week. But is coming, sooner or later!

On the personal side of things, last Sunday, once I got off work, I spent all the afternoon on my couch with Ade and my boyfriend. We started The Wheel of Time, and we watched all the four episodes that were out at the time. It is really pleasant to watch, and it is not boring. But I am not so happy with some of the changes from the book (okay, there is just one thing that I don’t really like, but it made me mad, so much!!). And I know a lot of things from the book, so I have no problems following along, but I think that without knowing things beforehand I would have been bored. My boyfriend is enjoying it without knowing a single thing, so… maybe I am wrong. But I am not 100% on board with this one, even if, so far, I am enjoying it!

And what about you? How was your week? And what have you read?? Let me know!

Happy reading!

The Last Watch was a great book and I’m sure you will end up enjoying it just as much as I did – and I can’t wait to get to the sequel, The Exiled Fleet, which is already sitting on my TBR…
As for the Wheel of Time, I have watched the first four episodes as well and since my familiarity with the books stops at book 3, when I abandoned the series out of sheer frustration, I can say that I’m enjoying the show so far. Hopefully it will keep being as good as it progresses… 🙂

So far I am really enjoying The Last Watch, every time I pick it up is so hard to put it down again!! Sadly at the moment I have not as much time as I was hoping, so it is a continuous start and stop, but I am loving it!!
And I am glad you enjoyed The Wheel of Time, at least so far!!

I am trying to follow at least a bit of my TBR and there are some books that I “should” read before the end of the year, so I am not bingeing this series, but I am really looking forward to the other books in it!! And I hope to get back to them soon!
