Hello people! I know that last week I said that I won’t have written another weekly recap this month, and I know that today is Friday and not Sunday as usual, but then I changed my mind and so here we are! I would work with a full schedule on Sunday and Saturday, so I don’t think I would read a lot. Sadly. So here we go!

What am I reading?

So, I am sad to say that The Spirit Thief is still here. It is by no means its fault, but this week I have not read while I was at home, so… no progress on this side. But I hope to do better next week, especially because I really want to go back to this adorable thief and his gang! And finally I am reading the last book from my March TBR, Only Ashes Remain. The first book was really original, and this second one is not disappointing, at least so far!

What have I read?

Updating Pritkin is a short novella from Cassandra Palmer’s series, by Karen Chance, and it was a really fun one. I really had a great time reading it, even if it was really really short. Then I have gone ahead and started a book from my Spring TBR, but since I am going to finish the March’one before the month is gone I am not feeling guilty about that. Cemetery Boys was a really good reading. I have to say that, on one hand, it was a bit… not disappointing but almost. There is so much hype for this book that I set my expectations too high. Mind me, it is a really good book, with great characters and important themes, and I enjoyed it. But I didn’t love it, and I think that the main problem here were the expectations. But I am really happy to have read it! And then we have The Order Of The Pure Moon Reflected in Water. This was another fast and quite short review. It is not the best book ever, but it was fun and I enjoyed it. I would have loved for more characterization of characters, to be honest, but I had a good time with it.

What Would I read?Β

I think that my next reading would be one of the ARCs I have in store, and I think that The Memoir of the Minotaur would be the lucky one!

Blogging and Personal LifeΒ

This week was quite uneventful, but I have managed once again to fall behind with house chores. Really, it amaze me how often this happen. Or, to be honest, nope, it doesn’t surprise me anymore. But at least I have done all my ironing, yay! The downside is that with the hot weather my ironing would grow, and grow a lot, so I am looking forward to a lot of quality time with my flat iron, sigh!
I also hope that soon I would be able to take some long walk with Ade is some beautiful places, like some natural parks and such, because every time the weather seems quite right for it, they close us down in a sort of lock-down. Sigh! But maybe after Easter things would get a little better again, or at least, I really hope so!

On the blogging side, this week I wasn’t really good. I fell behind with my post, and I haven’t wrote a single book review, either. But I am preparing a review for Sunday, since I am taking part in a blog tour, and probably next week I would publish the post about the tv shows I am following.

And what about you? How was your week? And what have you read?? Let me know!

Happy reading!

Having to pick between house chores and books, I have no doubts where my choice would fall, although it’s true that there might be some days when things like a huge pile of clothes to be ironed might look like a monster ready to attack, so it’s better to cave in and lay down the current book… πŸ˜‰
