Hello people and happy Monday everyone! I really hope your week has started in the best possible way! Today I am here to share with you all my TBR for Spring. I was a bit doubtful when the idea first came to me, because so far I did quite good with monthly TBR, and in Spring there is also Wyrd and Wonder, and that alone deserves its own TBR (even more so because creating the TBR for it is so much fun!), bu May would be quite a busy month for me, and I am seriously thinking about taking a break from everything online related. It really sadden me, but I think this year I won’t take part in this amazing event, and so I thought that a seasonal TBR could, at least, cheer me up a bit!

Since this would be a three months thing I tried to put in there books that would help me being consistent with my reading goals, too. And so we have some physical books. Usually I am not to kin to insert them in TBR, because with them I always go with the mood, but since these three are books that I really want to read at this moment, and since we are speaking of quite a long period of time, I will try it. And so here we have Middlegame, The Deadbringer and Half A War. And then we start we the non-fiction one with The Trial of Lizzie Borden.

Here we have two more non-fiction books, and yet, the lot of them is not really a happy one, I mean, I could have tried for some lighter theme right? Anyway, the next in line are The Show Won’t Go On and The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher. Then it is time for some titles picked up from my meme Blame It On The Community. I keep adding books to my TBR and it is all the book community’s fault. And it is also time that I try to read them, and not only put them on a list or other, right? So here we have some chosen few (so so few, sigh!): Titan Shade and Radiance.

Choosing which books to read from the never ending list I am creating thanks to Blame It On The Community was so so hard! But somehow I managed to settle for so few title. It felt like a real feat! Anyway, here there are the other two chosen ones: Dangerous Remedy and Sin In The Steel. Then we change “category” and we get some ARCs, The Memoir of the Minotaur and Darkness Unkown. To be honest, there would be some more ARCs in this list, but some of them would be on the part about the books that have more chances to be the first picked out of this list.

I am really curious about both these two ARCs, and I cannot say why I haven’t read them yet, aside for the usual fact that I would need a day of 48 hours minimum to read all the things that I want, anyway, I am really looking forward to both Opium and Absinthe and The Two Faced Queen. And then we get started with the non-fantasy books. Since I decided to try and read more of them this year, I have some titles that I wanted to read from quite some time now: What Angels Fear and Mr. Malcom’s List.

Boyfriend Material and The Hiding Place are other two non-fantasy books that I really hope to read soon, and then we have Into The Fire, since this is the last book in this series and I would love to try and finish or continue more series, as usual. And then there are some books that I just want to read because they make me curious, even if they are not in any way useful to reach my goals. Because reading has to be a pleasure and not only a challenge or an obligation, even if the challenge is just with yourself. And so we have There Will Come A Darkness.

These four books are pretty high on my priority list, The Mask of Mirrors because I can’t believe I have not started this one yet, The Thorn of Dentonhill because it seems pretty interesting, Cemetery Boys is another one for which I have great expectations, and Master of One, because it seems almost like I have a them going on in there, and I am pretty curious.

These four are some of the latest ARCs I received, and I am just so so so excited about them all! I really hope to read them ASAP, because I cannot contain my joy and my curiosity!!!!
I know I was a bit too ambitious, but since we are talking about some months here I am feeling pretty confident, and I would keep my finger crossed!
And what about you? Have you written down a TBR for Spring? And what do you think of the books I choose?? Let me know!
Happy reading!
S.

I’m sorry to hear that you might not share this year’s Wyrd & Wonder with us, but on the other hand you lined up a great list of books, some of which I’ve read, while I’m looking at others with keen interest. Have a great reading spring!!! 🙂

If all goes according to plan May would be a crazy month, even if in a good way. But I am really saddened by the idea of not taking part in Wyrd and Wonder, it is such an amazing event!! But maybe I would be able to follow the other blogs while they are taking part in it, so… It is something!
And I really hope to love all the books in there! 🤞
