Hello and happy Sunday everyone! I cannot believe this is the last wrap-up of the year, but here we are! I hope you all spend the holiday in the best possible ways (considering this strange period!) and that you had some time to relax, chill and to take care of yourself!

What am I reading?

I am a bit sad to say that I am still reading Blood of an Exile. I am really enjoying this book, but I didn’t had a lot of time this week to dedicate to books, and so it is still here. And even if I can say something more than the last week, because I am really appreciating the world-building, and it is quite peculiar because it reminded me a bit of Ardor Benn’s world, for all the things dragons related, but here it is more heavy on the environmental awareness side. It is interesting. And I am enjoying the characters too, but I want to have more time to dedicate to it! And then I have started Brigands. This is a really interesting anthology, and so far I had read some intriguing stories. I am looking forward to more of them!

What Have I read?

As I was saying before, this week I didn’t have a lot of time for reading, sadly, but I cannot complain too much, because I devoured Spellmaker, that I enjoyed way more than the first book, and then I have read two volumes of Black Butler, and loved them. The art is really amazing, and the story is just so so good! And ok, more than the story, the characters. They are just so so so good! Aww!! And then we have Thieftaker. But this one was quite disappointing, sadly. I was expecting to really like this one, but nope. It wasn’t the right one for me, even if I loved the setting. I think that if you are a fan of Dresden’s Files you would love this one too, because I had the same problems with this MC that I had with Dresden, so maybe it is just something that is not for me. Sadly!

What Would I Read?

I don’t know if I would manage to read another book before the ending of the year, and I don’t know if this one would be the chosen one, because there are so many books that I wanted to read before the ending of this year (and that I have to admit I won’t read, sigh, because the end of the year is here!) that I may change my mind. But this was one of those books I really wanted to read, so maybe?

Blogging and Personal Life

This year it was the first year in which me and my boyfriend spent Christmas together. Our families live really far, so usually we spend Christmas divided, but not this year! So, even if we couldn’t celebrate with our families we get to spend some quality time together, and it was beautiful! We managed to eat quite a lot, but I am regretting nothing! And we watched some old movies! We finally watched together Robin Hood A Man in Thights, and one of the old Asterix & Obelix cartoons. It was just so good! And Ade was a good boy. Also, we used him a bit as an excuse to do some walk, because we needed to move a bit!

On the blogging side, I cannot believe that 2020 is ending! The next week if all things go as planned I would post the last review for this year, and I would start with all the recap/best of/and similar posts that I am planning since the beginning of December. Finally their moment would come!

And what about you? How was your week? And what have you read?? Let me know!

Happy reading! S.

I’ve decided to start reading my January review books and not worrying about posting any more reviews until January. It’s really a nice break because I usually spend my weekends writing reviews. It’s hard to believe 2020 is almost behind us!! Have a good week, Susy😁

I think that Thieftaker has a lot in common with Dresden’s Files, because in the end the things that didn’t work for me here were the same that did not work for me there. And I really wanted to love both, sigh!
Oh, I am curious to know what you would think of it!!!
