WEEKLY WRAP-UP! #30

Hello everyone! I hope you all are safe and that things are going well! This week flew me by! I cannot believe today is Sunday! Christmas and the end of the year are approaching so fast! But I am having a great time with my reading so let’s start this recap!

What am I reading?

I was in the mood for a thriller, so I have started Il re di denari, is an Italian book, and I have just started it, so I cannot say much but… it is intriguing. It has really short chapters, and it made you turn page after page! And I have just started Spellbreaker. Lisa, @Waytoofantasy made me really curious about this series, and I have found someone to buddyread this first book on Goodreads, so here I am. So far I am pretty happy with the reading! And last, but not least, The Innkeeper’s daughter. I started it without thinking that I was going to read Spellbreaker soon and so now I am here juggling three books but… I am not complaining. At all! This last book is quite good. A tad too sappy for my tastes, but so far I am enjoying it!

What Have I read?

We don’t have any surprise here, because I have finished the book I was reading last week, and the fourth one is a book I have reviewed (and I cannot believe it, for once I was a good blogger, yay!) Foundation and Empire was interesting, and I enjoyed it but… but I loved the first one! To Hold Up The Sky is a book that deserves a ton of hype, in my modest opinion. To be honest I loved the first half of it, and lost interest in the second half but… but there is so much in these pages! I hope to write a review for it soon!! The Lord of Stariel was an enjoyable reading, and was the right book at the right time. I didn’t fall in love with it, but I enjoyed it quite a lot! And then we have Three Mages and A Margarita. This book was so much fun! I really hope to continue this series really soon!

With Undead and Uneasy I was hoping to decide what to do with this series: to drop it or to keep it? But… I am still confused. Argh! The first half of the book was quite annoying, and I was tempted to just drop book and series. But then things get a tad better and now… now I am back to the starting point. Oh well, I think I would try with the seventh book and see how it goes! And finally I went back to some manga, and I was just so happy! I have read volume 14, 15, 16 and 17 of Black Butler, and I loved them! It was just so good being back in this world, with these amazing characters! I really love this series! And I have started a new one! Spy x Family was just so cute! And sweet! And interesting! I am really looking forward to the sequels!

What Would I Read?

In December I have yet to read a non-fiction book, and I wanted to read this one since the beginning of 2020 so… no time better than the present, right? I really hope this would be my next reading!

Blogging and Personal Life

Reading wise this was a very positive week. I have read a lot, and I enjoyed all the books I have read. I cannot ask for more! This week was full of things to do, and it flew by, really. We are nearing Christmas so fast!!!
But at least I have managed to buy all the presents I need, and I am feeling satisfied.
On the blogging side I have a couple of reviews to share with you, I have to edit them, but there would be here!

And what about you? How was your week? And what have you read?? Let me know!

Happy reading! S.

I have watched a couple of her videos and loved them, but I didn’t connect the name with the author of the book. I can be so clueless!! But thanks for enlightening me!! Now I am even more curious! And I would love to know what you would think of The House in the Cerulean Sea!!!

It really was great! And I really really love Black Butler, both manga and anime (even if the manga is better) because the art is just right up my alley (and to me the art counts a lot!) and I love the characters! 😍 I hope you could enjoy it too, if you ever try it out!!
