Hello everyone! I hope you are all good and safe, and that your week has started in the best way! I have a couple of reviews to write, but I am not feeling like it so… I decided to go with the mood, again, and today I would show you some sci-fi books that I really really want to read. Almost all of them are books that I wanted in my TBR this month, but as always there are so many books and so little time, while a couple of them are books that I discovered this month… so, let’s start!

Polar Rising is a book that has no luck with me. I try every year to read it, and every single year I keep procrastinating. And I don’t know why! It was even in my TBR for last November, then the worst reading slump ever descend upon me and… nothing done. This year I didn’t even manage to put it on the list, argh! But I really, really want to read it!!! Nine Fox Gambit is a book that it is making me dying out of sheer curiosity. I have read so many interesting things about it that I have to try it out for myself! And the exact same thing could be said for Velocity Weapon. I was really convinced that this book would have been on my TBR for this month, and then I remembered all the series that needed to be continued and… it didn’t make the list. How sad! Then there is Children of Time, but really it could have been every other book by this author. I have all of them on my TBR and, sooner or later, all of them would be mine! I have read only one book by Tchaikovsky, and it was one of the fantasy ones, and I loved it! So now I need more. And the fact that I kept reading amazing things about them is not helping much (or is helping quite a lot, it all depends on you POV on the matter). Catfishing on CatNet is a book that has not received as much hype as the others, but I have read some intriguing things about them, enough to make me want to read it!

Chilling Effect seems a nice and light reading, but once that makes me curious nonetheless! Dark Matter is another book that I am trying to read since ages. I have put it in so many different TBRs but, so far, I haven’t touched that poor book. But its moment will come!!! Honor Among Thieves is a book that I cannot believe I haven’t read yet, it even has the magic word in the title! “Thieves” is there, clear as the day, and yet I haven’t read it. Shame on me!!! Nophek Gloss is popping up everywhere in the bookcommunity these days, and it seems like an amazing reading! So say hi to the latest addiction on my wishlist!! And last but not least, To Hold Up The Sky. I have never read a book by this author, but I am eager to try, and this one seems like a nice introduction!
So, that’s all for today! Have you read any of these books? And what are the Sci-Fi books you want to read?? Let me know!
Happy reading!

Ohh many of these are new to me! The only one I have read is Dark Matter and it is really good. Ninefox Gambit is one I really want to get to. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing list! I have read some of these, Dark Matter is seriously so good! And I loved Polaris Rising. It’s very romance heavy but there’s lots of action too😁

I really loved Ninefox Gambit; the rest of the trilogy, not so much, but 9fox was just superb! Also, Children of Time – fantastic! 😀
I was disappointed in Dark Matter, but that’s probably just me; and I have To Hold Up the Sky on my Kindle, waiting for its turn 😉

I am sorry that the rest of the series didn’t live up to 9fox but I am glad you enjoyed the first one! And I am curious to know what you would think about To Hold Up the Sky!!!

I’ve had Yoon Ha Lee’s trilogy on my TBR for a long time, and I keep promising myself it would start it at the first opportunity, but I keep shifting it down the queue in favor of something else, so I can totally empathize… 🙂

It is always the same problem, the burden of us poor bookworms: so many interesting books and so little time!!!

I’ve only read two of these, but I really did enjoy Polaris Rising and Dark Matter. They’re two VERY different books haha. Dark Matter was very…cerebral.
Hope you get a chance to check some of these out!

I loved the Honor Among Thieves series! It’s so unique, and the plot is really fast-paced and interesting! I haven’t seen a ton of reviews of it in the book community though.
