Hello everyone! I went on an unplanned hiatus, because of bad planning on my part and a lot of stress on the real life part. But I am back! And I cannot complain too much, because even if those past days were quite stressful and tiring, I read a lot of books, and enjoyed them. So… yay!
Anyway, today I am back with a list of books! It is a sort of Blame It On the Community but it is with self-published and indie books, and since I have added them in my TBR without paying attention now I don’t know to whom lay the blame so it would be just a list of books that I am really curious to read! Ready???

To be honest, I am really dying to start all of them! I had my eyes on them since they come out and the bookcommunity started talking about them. Orconomics and Mid-Lich Crisis scare me a bit, because they could be a hit or miss with me, and I really wish them to be a hit but… I am a bit scared. But so so curious! River of Thieves seems an interesting book, and it seems more my cup of tea. While A Magical Inheritance could be any book written by this author, really. I have discovered her this year, and I have read the first two books in another series written by her, The Dark Abyss of Our Sins, that I reviewed here and here. And now I have to read all her other books. I just have to!

Beggar’s Rebellion is a book that makes me curious, it seems like my cup of tea, and I have read some really interesting thing about it. All the other books are books I discovered thanks to this year edition of Self Pub Fantasy Month, in a way. Kings of Paradise is on my digital shelves, if my memory serves me right, because I received it some time ago (ok, a long time ago, but I had an accident with the e-reader I was using at the time and some books were forgotten… I can be a really bad bookworm, I know!) but this year I have read another book by this author and I loved it! So now I have to start this series, too. And I really hope to do it soon!
This week I was in the mood for something short, so I read a novella I had received some time ago, and I enjoyed it quite a lot! So now I have to start the series and the first book is Dangerous To Know. I cannot wait to meet this character again and to learn more about him!
And last but not least, The Thief Who Spat In Luck’s Good Eye. I have read the first one this month, it was for the read-along but I was a bad bookworm (again!!!) and I have read it all in one sit. Because I needed to keep reading it till the end. And now, obviously, I need more!
What about you? Have you read these books? And what books are at the top of your self-pub TBR? Let me know!
Happy reading!
S.
Excellent list! I’d suggest you start with the two that might be hit or miss, that way if they’re miss you can set them aside early (they’re two of my favorite books, so I dont think that’ll be the case)

I think I would follow your advice and start Orconomics soon! I have it on my digital shelf and I have to start another book really soon!! 🤞

I love this list. And if I were to do my own list, I think it would have completely different books on it😁 Although I do want to read Orconomics!

Thank you! But now I am curious to see which books you would put in your list!!!

Sorry things have been stressful, good to see you back! I really loved A Magical Inheritence, although there’s not much action like in some of her other books. It’s a lot of book sorting, worrying about money and female friendships. Oh, and ghosts!

Thank you!! ❤️ And A Magical Inheritance sounds a bit different from my usual reading, but it seems interesting!! Also, Allegra in The Demons We See is not our usual character either and I loved her anyway, so I have expectations!!

I’ve been curious about Orconomics too! And I definitely want to read another Amra Thetys book!

Orconomics seems a fun read, but I am eager to continue Amra Thetys series!

These are all new to me, and Orconomics is the one that keeps drawing my attention: a quick peek on GoodReads showed me it might be a fun read – provided that it contains the *right* kind of humor of course… 😉

That was my fear with Orconomics too, and even if I am currently reading it I cannot say, yet. But the idea is really interesting!
