BLAME IT ON THE COMMUNITY! #6

Hello people! How are you? And how are your reading going? I just want to sleep, I am tired, and I know that this is becoming a refrain lately, sorry about that, and it is hot! I love that we have longer days in Summer and it seems like you have all the time in the world to do things, but I hate the hot weather with a passion!
Anyway, today I am here with this meme to share with you some of the new books on my TBR (and all of them are your fault!!!!)

The book community is an amazing place, where you can discover good book after good book. Yes, the community is not the only meaning to discover new books, but it’s one of the most pleasant and rich. And the additions to my TBR are always a lot when I frequent the book community (blog, twitter, Goodreads or Instagram. On every platform this is the best way to discover new books!) so I thought it would be nice to share some appreciation for the hard work that sometimes promoting our favorite reading could be!

I have to say that I won’t always be able to say where I discovered the books that I mentioned, but all the books I would mention in this meme are books that I discovered thanks to you all. It could be a review, a can’t wait Wednesday, a twitt, a post somewhere. It’s not important what, just know that I have you to thanks to making me discover new books!

I don’t know if I am cheating here, because Mo Dao Zu Shi (or The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) is a book I am reading right now, but it is a book I discovered thanks to the book community, and there is a review that pushed me toward it. I have started it because I couldn’t resist after reading the review, so all the blame is on Kat. And she has the blame for the next book, too, because she recommended to me The Hidden King, too. Shards of Honour is here thanks to Maddalena @Space and Sorcery. She talked of this series on a book tag and I was just so curious! This November I hope to take part in the all month celebration of sci-fi and maybe I would get the opportunity to start this series, too! Last year I kept a ton of sci-fi reading for November, and then I had to go and be in the worst slump ever. Let’s hope this year would be more lucky!
Then we have Silk & Steel that I discovered thanks to Louise @Life in the Book Lane, I never heard of this series before, but it seems just so good!!! And, last but not least, The Ventifact Colossus, an Indie book that I discovered thanks to Realms of My Mind. She talked about it in her blog and then wrote an amazing review. How could I resist to that???

And for today that’s all! What about you? Do you blame the community for your never-ending TBR, too? And have you read these books? Or have you added them to your list? And which are the latest books you have added to it?? Let me know!

Happy reading!
S.
