June TBR!

Hello people! How are you? And are you ready for June? I think I may not be… at work things are going back to normal, and this means a ton more of work to do, with longer and fuller schedule, and I am simply not ready! And on the day off we have to do things with the puppy, because we are socializing him and so we have to try and make as many new experiences as possible… so it seems like June would be crazy!
But I want to do a TBR nonetheless. And so here we are!

The May’s leftover:

Those three were on my May’ TBR. Sure, they were the “special guests” because I wanted to read them, but I was not sure to manage it. And here they are. But since I really want to read them, they would end straight on my next TBR. I have great expectations from The Sword of Kaigen, great great expectations. But I think it would be quite a demanding reading, so I would need the other two to balance the things out. Even more so because I am feeling the need for something fast and not too intense.

The new entries!

This series by Scalzi is just so fun! And I need to know how it would end, so I really hope to read the last volume, The Last Emperox, this month! And then I hope to read The Raven Lady, because I enjoyed the first book of the series and I am so happy to have been approved for this ARC on NetGalley. Yay!
The Art of Dying is a book I received from the author, and I am quite curious. I don’t like to let authors wait too long, even if sometimes life happens and there are always so many books, that it is unavoidable. But I really hope to read it!
And, last but not least, the only one of them that is not a book I received in exchange for a review: Quando Finiscono Le Ombre. It is an Italian mystery, and I really need something like this after reading so many fantasy books! (Not that I am complaining, oh no, no, no! But sometimes I need something different, too!). And I love the MC of this series, so I think I would be in for a lovable reading!

It is not a long list, but I have tried to keep things short since I don’t know how much time I would have for reading. Anyway, they are all books that seem interesting and I have great expectations for almost all of them I hope they would deliver!

And what about you? Have you done a TBR for June? What would you read? And have you read the books I mentioned? Let me know!!!

Happy reading!
S.

I’m afraid to do my June TBR because it’s way too full! But it looks like you have a pretty manageable pile. I’d love to read The Sword of Kaigen one of these days😁
