Hello people! This was the last full week of March, and on one hand this month is really dragging itself, but on the other hand, I can’t believe that we are almost in April!! Anyway, as every Sunday I am here with a recap for my week, and this for me was back- at-work week. It wasn’t bad, and I had some time to read too, so no complaint here, I just hope to read quite a lot the next week, too!
What I am reading?
Night Watch wasn’t a planned reading, but I founded out a book club on Reddit that was about to read it and I jumped right to it! It is amazing to read a Pratchett’s book with someone! The only drawback is that I wanted to never stop and just go on with the reading, and devour it all because this is an amazing book! But oh well, I am enjoying discussing it, and I am enjoying the reading (tremendously enjoying it!) so I can’t ask for more, really! And then I have just started Under Ordshaw. I was really looking forward to this one, and I was planning on starting it a couple of days ago but Pratchett’s book took precedence, and there was work, too, so I have just started it, so it is far too early to say something about it!
What I have read?
No big surprises here, since I just finished the book I was reading in the last post, but they were both good books! Promise of Blood was an amazing book, even if we had some issue at the beginning, but it was a hell of a reading and I am soooooo looking forward to the sequels! While I enjoyed The Absinthe Earl and I don’t know why I have waited so long before reading it!!!
What would I read?
I don’t know. I am trying to figure out what I want to read in April since May would be Wyrd and Wonder month, and it would be, obviously, a month for fantasy! So I am thinking about trying to read more non-fantasy books in the next month, just for variety sake, but I am so undecided!
Blogging and Real Life!
So, as I said before, this week I went back to work. It wasn’t bad, because there is far less work than usual, due to covid situation, and so it was quite… relaxing, in some ways, and I had time to read and to playing Dragon Quest with my bf Switch.
I continued my The Big Bang Theory marathon and I am now into the 7th season, and I am really enjoying myself.
On the blog side the next week you would see the recap for my entire month, and I am trying to decide if April would be a good month for a TBR, or not… But I haven’t decided yet, so all could happen!
That’s all for my week! How was yours? Have you done some great reading? And have you read some of the books I have mentioned? And how is going your life?? Let me know!
Happy reading!
S.
I can’t believe its April either. March was such a weird month, and I’m glad it’s almost over, but I’m afraid April might be worse here in the US, as we’re just ramping up COVID cases and it’s a bit worrying.
