Blame it on the community! #2

Hello everyone! How are you? And how are your reading going? Today I am here with this meme, and even if I know that this is not really so good for my TBR health, it’s damn good for my mood, so… here we are again!

The book community is an amazing place, where you can discover good book after good book. Yes, the community is not the only meaning to discover new books, but it’s one of the most pleasant and rich. And the additions to my TBR are always a lot when I frequent the book community (blog, twitter, Goodreads or Instagram. On every platform this is the best way to discover new books!) so I thought it would be nice to share some appreciation for the hard work that sometimes promoting our favorite reading could be!

I have to say that I won’t always be able to say where I discovered the books that I mentioned, but all the books I would mention in this meme are books that I discovered thanks to you all. It could be a review, a can’t wait Wednesday, a twitt, a post somewhere. It’s not important what, just know that I have you to thanks to making me discover new books!

The Tethered Mage is a series that I discovered thanks to the book community. When the first book came out it was everywhere on Twitter. And I mean it. Everywhere! And I was curious, yes but… not enough. But then I have read the review written by Way Too Fantasy about the third book and here I am, finally adding it to my TBR. And since we are speaking about this blog, I have another book or better yet, another series (yep, another series!!! They really are the bane of my existence!) to pin on her: The Vampire Knitting Club. I am dying to start this one, and I really hope to do it, sooner than later!!!
Then we have The Absolution. I have read a captivating review of this thriller that made me want to read it ASAP, but I can’t remember where I read the review. Sorry! I have the bad habits to screenshot the book cover when I found something interesting online, but it doesn’t always have the blog name or something that makes me understand or remember who the author was. And this is the case. In the screenshot, you just see the cover and nothing else… argh! The Ninth Sorceress is a book I discovered thanks to this review on A Book. A thought. And then we have How Rory Thorne Destroyed The Multiverse. To be honest, I snobbed this book before, but then I read a fantastic review on Space and Sorcery and now here it is, freshly added on my TBR!

If you click on the books’ title you would find the Goodreads page with all the info about them.

And for today that’s all! What about you? Do you blame the community for your never-ending TBR, too? And have you read these books? Or have you added them to your list? And which are the latest books you have added to it?? Let me know!

Happy reading!
S.

I’m certain that you will not only love The Tethered Mage, but that you will rush to get the other two books in the series: having waited until now, you are in the lucky position of being able to read the complete trilogy with no waiting time! Happy reading! 🙂
