Weekly Wrap-Up! #3

Hello people! It is Sunday again and I am here with a recap of my week! It was a quiet week, and even if I didn’t read as much as I was hoping, I can’t really complain so much!

What I am reading?

I have just started Sapphire Flames and all I can say so far is that I missed Ilona Andrews’ books! And I am looking forward to go back to it, ASAP! And I am also reading Heroes Wanted. It’s an anthology and I am enjoying the stories. They are all about heroes, all kind of heroes, and so far is an interesting reading, which is gifting me with some interesting world to explore and intriguing characters!

What I have read?

The first one is an Italian book about etiquette manuals and how to do and be to have a good marriage, in history. It was interesting and informative, and I had some fun, too! Then I have read Bound By Flames and I was expecting more from this book. It wasn’t bad, but… not as good as I was hoping. And the same I can say for The Chestnut Man. I was in need of a good thriller, and even if this one was captivating and I enjoyed it, it wasn’t so good as I was expecting. But finally, I managed to read The Unspoken Name, and this one was a book that I enjoyed a lot! I was expecting something more, yes, but I enjoyed the reading. And, least but not last, I have devoured Hunting Ground. I think it was the right book at the right time, and I am so grateful for it!

What would I read?

Cress and The Bard’s Blade are the last two titles on my TBR and I am really looking forward to both of them!

So far I have read 6 out of 9 books on my TBR, I am reading the 7th and I am planning to read the two left really soon, so I think that I am doing great and, maybe, I could snuggle some other reading in my February, if all goes well!

Blogging and real life!

Speaking about blogging, I am excited because I started this new meme, or sort of, and tomorrow it would be online the first post. And I cannot wait! I am also hoping to write a couple of reviews. I know that the next week would be a busy one, so I am not so sure, but let’s hope I would accomplish something!
My real life wasn’t so exciting this week, but I am not complaining here! It was a very windy week, and here is highly unusual, so the wind wreaks havoc on my poor terrace. I am not so happy about it (I am quite annoyed, truly) but I have managed to save the plants who were there and that survived, so I count it as a win!

That’s all for my week! How was yours? Have you done some great reading? And have you read some of the books I have mentioned? And how is going your life?? Let me know!

Happy reading!
S.
