Series Maniac: She who hesitates is lost!

Hello world! How are you? And how are your reading going? All in all, I am having a great time with the books I am reading at the moment. I just wish for more time to spend with them! Anyway, last week I shared with you the series that I have to finish (and yes, it’s more a pious wish than a real goal, but hey! At least I am trying!!) and so today I want to share with you some of the series that I have to continue.
To be honest, I really want to go on with all of them, but the time is always so little, and there are so many books to contend my attention and so I keep accumulating them… So I hope to move the thing around speaking about them… Maybe I would continue some of them sooner than later!!!!

This would be a really long and rich post. The thing is, I won’t speak about all the series I have to continue, just about the series that I hope to continue in the near future. And even so, I may be a bookdragon without hope. Anyway… Heroes at Risk it’s the 4th book in this amazing series. The first two books were amazing, the third one was something less, to be honest, but Lee and Taro are two of my favorite characters ever so I need to go on with this series! Saint’s Blood is the 3rd volume in the Greatcoats series, and so far this series is wonderful, fantastic, so rich and intriguing! Do you see where I am going here, right? Shadows Return is the 4th book in the Nightrunners series, and Alec and Seregil are two great characters! I am really dying to meet them again! And then we have some urban-fantasy: Dark Heir is the 9th book in the Jane Yellowrock series, and so far is an interesting series with interesting mythology behind it. How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back is the 4th in the White Trash Zombie series, and this one is just one of those light reading that sometimes I really need. We have mystery, actions and an interesting MC. Ride the Storm is the 8th book in the Cassie Palmer series. To be honest the last books weren’t so good, since it seems like the author put her mind more on the companion series than in this one, but I have read so far, I hope to see it to an end, one day!

On the urban fantasy side I have a ton of other series, and choosing just some of them was hard, but in the end, this is just a post, so choosen I have! Night Broken is the 8th book in the Mercy Thompson series, and this one is the right series if you are in need of some weres! And than there is Night and Silence the 12th book in the Toby Daye series. This series has a ton of magic and intriguing characters! And I miss them all! Ghostly Echoes is the 3rd book in the Jackaby series, and this one is quite an original series, that I enjoy. It’s not one of the best ever, but it’s highly enjoyable. Sort of young Sherlock meets the preternatural creatures, but funnier and with a great female sidekick (or MC, I think she deserves it!). Bloody Rose is the 2nd book in the Band series, and I need to read this one! The first one was good and I have great expectations from this one! And then we have two books that have some of the best rogue characters ever! Red Seas Under Red Skies the 2nd book in the Locke Lamora series, and Rise of Empire, the 2nd of the Riyria Revelations. I’m really dying to continue these two series.

As usual, choosing was hard. But what’s really harder is knowing that I have so many wonderful series there, waiting for me, and I just keep choosing other books. How can I be so cruel? And why the life of a bookworm is so so hard??? There really are so many books and so little time! That’s just cruel!

And what about you? Have you read this series? And which ones are the series that you want to continue? Let me know!

Happy reading!
S.

I feel you! It is so hard to keep up with all those series. I have so many left to finish and start as well. Its daunting which I don’t think is helping me in picking any of them up haha.

I have so many series to complete – I think I have a definite problem. I need help. I keep starting more series and not finishing the ones that are ever so patiently waiting. It’s just so final isn’t it – finishing a series – I just want to keep the world and the characters around for just a little bit more. I suppose I should just finish a few more series – I can always pack my spotted hanky and go revisiting after all.

I’m also a series reader and in the middle of many, many series. I’m caught up with the wonderful Toby Daye series but I’ve read only the first of Briggs’ series and de Castell’s series. I haven’t read any of the other but many of them sound very tempting. 🙂
