Weekly Wrap-Up #12

Hello world! how are you? And how are your reading going? I am really happy to be here again with another weekly recap because I have done some beautiful reading and I am eager to share them with you! The wonderful #Mythothon is almost done but I have completed my TBR, yay! That’s a great accomplishment!

What I am reading:

To be honest, I have started Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine and then I have dropped it. It’s not the book fault, let’s be clear on this, but I was feeling more like something fun or lighthearted and I realized it after starting this book. I have to say that it’s quite a fascinating reading because I have read around 10% of it and I want to go on, just not right now. I am not in the right mood. So when in doubt, I go back to an author that I knew and love. And so I have started Waistcoats & Weaponry, the third installment in the Finishing School by Gail Carriger, and I can happily say that this book is delivering a lot more of what I was expecting and I am truly enjoying myself!

What I have read:

With Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff I have finished my TBR. And now I am here wondering why I haven’t started this series sooner. I mean, with this book I have discovered Kristoff, since I had it on my TBR since ages, but I have read almost all the other Kristoff books outside this amazing series. Why???????? I have read the second book by Simenon too, and even if I am not in love with Maigret I like those books and they are quite the right reading in this autumnal time. And then we have Che Sfiga! that is an Italian book. The title can be roughly translated like “Ow, that sucks!” and it’s about famous characters who were really unlucky. It’s a short and fun reading, even if not as fun as I was expecting. And Watersnakes is a haunting graphic novel that I have read thanks to that NetGalley and I loved the arts, completely!

What I would read next:

Sadly I don’t know yet. Surely I would go back to Eleanor Oliphant but… what else? I don’t really know at the moment.

Mythothon Report:

Since I am not with my precious notebook right now I cannot post the bingo pics with all my reading, but I am doing really good! I won’t complete the board, sadly, but I read all the books on my TBR and I have read 3 more books. So I have covered a little bit more of half of it, and I hope to get something else done in the next few days.
