Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag!

Hello people! How are you? Today I am really glad to be here with this book tag! It would be a wonderful way to do a quick recap for the books I have read and loved in this first half of the year! And I have to thanks Priyasha for it!

1. Best Book You’ve Read So Far in 2018:

I really can’t complain! My bookish 2018 so far was fabulous! I loved all these books and more of them, but lucky me I would use the books that I left out here for the next questions.

2. Best Sequel Of 2018 So Far?

Have I said yet that 2018 was amazing??? I really read a lot of good books and I hope that the second half of the year would be at the same level!

3. New Release You Haven’t Read Yet, But Want To?

0hex89o

To be honest there are a ton of new releases that I want to read but just for this once I want to do the good girl and nominated just one book. And this one is the winner. I just get it and I am dying to start it! Anyone want to try and guess what would be my next reading??

4. Most Anticipated Release Of The Second Half Of 2018?

I don’t know. I am not one to pay attention to the publication date, save for few chosen one, and I am not really expecting new books at the moment. But as soon as I read a post or a twitt or everything else about a new book you can be sure that I would want to read it!

5. Biggest Disappointment?

yo9pfuf

This was one of the two books I DNF this year. I was expecting so much from this author, but this book simply wasn’t meant for me.

6. Biggest Surprise?

All of them were ARCs or books that the authors send to me, and all of them were wonderful! I loved them and they really surprised me!

7. Favorite New Author (Debut Or New To You) ?

I know, I am repeating myself. But this is the year of Sebastien De Castell. I started both of his series this year and he has quickly become one of my favorite authors! But he wasn’t the only one!

8. Newest Fictional Crush?

t6nxow8

The newest is Calidan, I loved his voice!!!

9. Newest Favorite Character?

I can’t write down all the list, it would be a really long one. I loved at least one character (but more often than not, two/three/four) of every book I have read and loved!!!!

10. Book That Made You Cry?

lnqllsg

I wasn’t crying crying, but Pratchett can move me in wonderful ways!

11. Book That Made You Happy?

tfgankf

The previous book would have been a good choice for this question, too. But, to be honest all the books that I nominated so far (Salvatore’s one apart) could have been the right one for this question, too. But they were too much, so I decided on this one. Reading this was so much fun!

12. Favorite Book To MovieAdaptation You’ve Seen This Year?

uug6uqt

I think that this one is the only one I have watched in 2018 and I haven’t read the book, yet. But I loved this series!!!!!!

13. Favorite Review You’ve Written This Year?

This is a hard one. Usually, I like to write reviews, and even if I am not satisfied by all of them in the same ways well… usually I like them. But I think that the right one for this question would be Traitor’s Blade review because was the first one that I wrote not for an ARC!

14. Most Beautiful Book You Bought Or Received So Far This Year?

I CANNOT choose!

15.Books You Need to Read By the End of the Year

I NOMINATE-

All of you! If you want to do this tag link me back, so I can check out all your answers!

I had a lot of fun doing this tag! And it really makes me happy to see that so far my bookworm’s year was so great!
Did you read some of the books I have mentioned??
Happy reading!
S.

You are much braver than I am. I don’t do tags like this because it sounds so daunting to pick favorites from all my babies!!! Well done. It sounds like you’ve had a great year. So many favorite books and so few DNF’s.

I LOVE The illuminae Files and the Six of Crows duology. Brilliant books. Do you know if any of Sebastien De Castell’s books are in translation? I can’t find them, but you’re gushing so much I want to check him out!

Choosing is always so hard! That’a why I ususally do so few of them, but sometimes I try because I love to have the opportunity to talk about the books I lobed, even if I didn’t manage to write a review for them 🙂

And De Castell is awesome! I think his first series is finished, The Greatcoats one, but I am not completely sure, while the second one is ongoing. And translations in which langiage? 🙂

Oy! In English was my original ask– but that’s because the books are only in Italian at my local library. Apparently, all of de Castell’s works have been published in English. O_o Silly questions receive silly answers… I’m super excited to start The Greatcoats, then. It looks like I just have to buy my own copies instead of borrowing from the library! XD
