Hello people! How are you? And how are your readings going? But most important… how is the weather where you live? Here it’s quite confusing… one day is springtime, with the sun, light breezes and the little birds that sing all around and the next is Autumn, with rain, fog, and the ravens that caw everywhere. And then sun again and then rain and fog again… it’s really confusing!
Anyway… Today I am back with this wonderful meme hosted by Lost in a story. My TBR on Goodreads really need this because I keep adding titles! I know that it would be better for me if I just stop doing it but it seems like an impossible task… so here we are again!
It works like this:
- Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go? (I’ve added the “maybe” choice because I simply can’t choose and so I added this category. If I read or start the books on the maybe list before June I would keep them, if not they have to go!)
I was intrigued by the Celtic mythology, it’s one of my favorites so I found the story intriguing, but… I’ve just reread the plot and it doesn’t seem like something new, or even interesting, so… bye bye book!
The plot of this one is slightly more interesting than the previous one, and I had to think about keeping or removing it quite a long time, but in the end I am not so interested in it anymore so…
Today it seems to be the paranormal books day! And I honestly don’t know what gets into me to add all these books together on my TBR, I mean, I like the genre to a point, but it never was one of my faves and it’s not one of my faves now, either so… I don’t know what possessed me, but I am not interested in them anymore so…
I love the cover of this one, but the plot isn’t so compelling… and I am just repeating myself here, so…
So… this one is about Necromancers, so it’s not as easy as the others to dismiss, and I found the plot not compelling but at least a little bit interesting, so I think I would wait and see what it would be!
I am really satisfied with my choices right now, because this week I’ve added something like 10 new books to my TBR and I was feeling a little bit guilty… just a little bit, mind you, because it’s not my fault if there are so many books to read and so little time to do it! Anyway, it felt good to balance the things out, at least a little bit!
Did you read any of these books? What do you think of my choices? Let me know!
