State of the ARC #2

State of the ARC is a monthly meme at Avalinah’s Books meant to motivate you to finish up all your long overdue ARCs (Advanced or Early Reader Copies). You can track your reading progress and link up with your own post. Most commonly it comes out on the 30th of every month.

Hello everyone! How are you? And how are your reading going? This month I have decided to not post the monthly recap… I read a lot and I have made some good reading, too, so I am really happy, but I want to post so many things (wrap-ups, state of the ARC, reviews and so on… ) but the time is always less, so I had to give up something, and the recaps post lose the game. But I hope to be more organized this month and to don’t have to give up anything in the future! Anyway… I’m here with this wonderful meme! So, let’s get started!

My Current State of the Arc!

Netgalley- total: 40 ARC
Not due: 13
Overdue, Unread: 20
Read, Review Due: 7

Author- total: 7
Overdue, Unread: 7

I have a lot of work to do, that’s true, but hey! I’m getting there! (Or at least I hope so!!!)

Bricks Knocked Down

This month I have read 3 ARCs, one of them, Child of a Mad God by R.A. Salvatore, I DNF but I wrote a review and wrote back a feedback, while I wrote a review for only one of the other books I’ve read this month: Havesskadi by Ava Kelly. I’m working on the reviews for Unclean Spirits by Chuck Wendig, stay tuned!
But I’ve also written a review for 19 Souls by J.D. Allen, which is an ARC I read in January, so yay!

Let’s get motivated!

I’d love to say that in March I’ll read some long due ARCs, but I know that this would be a lie, because in March a lot of my ARCs would be published, so I’ll try to give them some priority, but I’d love to try and read more than three of them! So these are the ones I am looking forward to:

They are three really different books, but I hope that all of them would be good! And the blurb of Master Assassins is by Patrick Rothfuss… I’m so excited to read this one! I hope it would be super good!!!!!
Also, in March I would try and not request a single ARC from NetGalley. What do you say? Will I manage this enormous task?

I know I’ve said this already, but I am really happy to participate in this meme and I really hope it would help me to keep track of my ARCs, and maybe also help me to be more consistent with them and to defeat the overdue pile!
And… have you ARCs to read? Are you always on time? Or you do like me and let them accumulate on their own???
Happy reading!
S.
