January’s gone

Hello everyone! January is a long month but to me it was sooo short that I have some problems to convince me that we are in February now. It really flew by!

Anyway, this year I’ll try to post two different recaps, one for my reading and one with all the things not books related. I don’t know if I’ll manage to keep up with both of them all year long, but I want to try this out. What do you think about it?

My month in a pic

I’m not much of a photograph, so I’m sorry for the poor quality of the pics (this one and the other one which will come next), anyway…sadly this pic is really my month on a pic! It’s not the train (I basically live on trains, but that’s not important) but the fog that is important, sadly again. I moved to a new city in June and this place is famous (or infamous) for the fog. And without any doubt fog was what you get to see almost every day, yay! It’s not that I dislike it, once I really liked it, but now that I see it almost every single day is simply too much.

Touristing around

One good thing about my new city is that it’s not too far from two wonderful lakes. I see both of them from the train while I am working, and they really are amazing, with a lot of little towns that you can visit. Both are very romantic and peaceful and lovable places. I visited one of them during the summer, choosing different town every time I went, but it seems that I couldn’t visit the other, even if it wasn’t for lack of trying (once I wanted to visit it and it rained for three days so I had to postpone the visit, another time I tried to visit it with my boyfriend and his sister, but she got the flue, and so on and so on…). But in the end, I visited also the second one, hurra! In January at last I managed to visit this one, which is the smaller one, with my BF and his sister, lucky us she was feeling really well this time. And it was fantastic! The light there was awesome and it was like walking in a fairy tale. I really hope to visit more of this lake in the spring or in the summer!

The Song of the Month!

It seems like I cannot incorporate a video in this post, so you have to click here to watch it on Youtube. Anyway, I spent most of my January listening to Perfect by Ed Sheeran with Andrea Bocelli. I love Bocelli’s voice, I think is one of the most beautiful voices and this song is so sweet!!!! Also, I really like the video.

New Things

I watched and really liked the first two seasons of this anime, but I didn’t know that there was a third one! I’ve just discovered it so I know what I would watch in February, that’s for sure! Also I discovered the existence of some useful and fantastic sites (or, to be more precise, I discovered that they can be also social and not just simple list of things to read/watch..) so if you have a profile on them and want to add me, you just have to click on the name of the site and you would visit my profile. Feel free to add me! The first one is MyDramaList, that really helps me keep track of the drama I watch. I always heard about it but I checked it out just recently and now I am loving it! The same goes for MyAnimeList, and I love this one best because you can keep track of the anime but also of the manga that you are following! At the moment I am also using TvTime, so I can keep an eye on my tv series, too, and I like this one because it’s also an app, so I can follow up with my mobile without problems! And I am also trying this one out, AnimePlanet. I know that it’s really similar to MyAnimeList, but there are some differences and I want to try them both and see which one would suit me better.

I think that this is all, at least for now! And what about you? How was your January? Did you discover something new? Do you use some of these sites? And do you like this kind of post? Tell me!
Happy reading!
S.

Hi! I watched some episodes of Death Note, but I had to abandon it because at the time my notebook broke and I haven’t gone back to it, yet, but I was liking it, so I hope to start it again! But I wonìt watch the adaptation!!! 😉

I agree with the scenery part! But it’s worst when you are at home and all you can see from the windows is a white cast. No home, no mountains, no trees… but February is less foggy, at least for now, and I hope that the good weather keeps up! 🙂
I’m glad to read that you’re loving MyAnimeList, I am enjoying it so far! 🙂
      And thank you 🙂
